There are many different programs and activities run in the Centre either by the Glen Iris Road Uniting Church or other providers. Enquiries are warmly welcomed for every program and activity. You will also find contact details on our community notice board.

Fellowship, Craft, Conversation

Children's Activity Time

An opportunity some mornings for those with little children to get together to chat and do simple craft activities. This runs from 9.30am - 11.30am during the school term. We are yet to confirm the days for 2025.

Health, Fitness & Well Being

CaraBelle School of Dance

Nurtures children’s creativity through the love of dance by offering ballet for 4-5 year olds, and ballet, jazz & hip hop for 6 to 12 year olds: www.carabelle.com.au

Traditional Ip Man Wing Chun

Wing Chun Kung Fu was rumored to have been created by the Ng Mui, one of the five legendary elders of Shaolin Temple, for the girl Yim Wing Chun. The original concept of Wing Chun is to help smaller people defend themselves against bigger, stronger opponents. It may seem difficult to believe, or understand, but through Wing Chun a student can explore their sensitivity, accuracy, skill and power to overcome their opponents. Ashgrove Calisthenics Club

Calisthenics combines the arts of dance, ballet and gymnastics to create a unique Australian sport. The Ashgrove Calisthenics Club provide classes for all ages from Tinies (3 Years) through to Masters. Educational

Mini Maestros

Offers fun and educational music programs for children, including babies, toddlers and preschoolers, aged 6 months to 5 years, that will help children to foster an appreciation of music to last a lifetime. Minitalia Lab

Minitalia Lab is designed to introduce preschool children to the Italian culture. The curriculum provides a natural approach to a new language by experimenting with play, song, movement, stories and art. Its mission is to immerse children aged 0 -5 years in the Italian language and culture, and develop their verbal, motor, social and critical thinking skills through a developmentally appropriate, arts-integrated curriculum: www.minitalia.com.au

Stage Left

Stage Left is a part time performing arts school - a unique and creative environment where you can learn to sing, dance and act under the one roof! Stage Left runs senior school classes for 6 - 16 year olds and Stage Kids classes specially designed for younger performers aged 4 - 6 years: www.stageleft.com.au
